Matt here...We found out that the timespan from LID to referral is currently running at 14 months and may conceivably lengthen further. Referral to travel typically runs around 8 weeks. This means that portions of our paperwork are likely going to expire. Who knew that certain paperwork actually has a "shelf life". So, we are likely going to have to have some of our paperwork redone and repay certain fees as we move along through the waiting period. This development stressed both of us out this weekend and Julia's back went out. She was pretty much bedbound yesterday. She is feeling a bit better today. To get out of the house, we went to Pottery Barn Kids store to see the nursery set we had picked out on the internet in person. We ended up buying several pieces today and have them in what will be Emma's room. Some pictures of the "store vision" of the room are below:
